Everyone summoned for jury duty in the 13th Judicial District Cibola County, must complete the Jury Qualification & Questionnaire online at jurorportal.nmcourts.gov even if you are requesting to be excused, with the exception of those 75 years of age or older. If you do not have access to a computer and or internet, we provide a computer with internet at the Courthouse you can use.
If you are 75 years of age or older, you can be permanently excused by requesting it over the phone at (505) 287-8831 Ext: 3122 or completing your online Questionnaire.
**The 15 Grand Jurors who were selected for Grand Jury on November 14, 2025 you WILL NEED TO APPEAR on December 12, 2025 @ 9:00am and December 26, 2025 @ 9:00am for Grand Jury Service.
*Juror Sequence Numbers 121 through 304 you DO NOT NEED TO APPEAR on December 2, 2025 Jury Trial Selection has been canceled.
*Juror Sequence Numbers 305-489 you WILL NEED TO APPEAR on December 9, 2025 @ 8:00am for Jury Trial Selection before the Honorable Judge Amanda Sanchez Villalobos.
*Juror Sequence Numbers 490 through 600 you DO NOT NEED TO APPEAR AT THIS TIME.
If you need to submit a request for dates you will not be available to come in, please upload your request to the juror portal website jurorportal.nmcourts.gov or bring your request into the Court Clerk’s office. All requests must be done in writing.
When requested by the Courts to appear for Jury Trial Selection, you may bring a bottle of water that has not yet been opened. Please remember cell phones will not be allowed in the Courthouse.
Remember to call every Friday after 5:00pm to (505) 287-8831 Ext: 1 or check the Jury Duty website for any upcoming Jury Trials. The night before your Juror Sequence Number is required to appear call the Jury phone line or check the Jury Duty website to find out if any changes have been made to your appearance date or time. This will help avoid any unnecessary trips to the Courthouse in the event the Jury Trial has been changed or canceled.
You will receive an email and or text messages from the court to remind you of your appearance date and time, if you signed up through your juror portal. Please keep in mind these are a courtesy from the court, it is still the jurors responsibility to call the jury phone line or check the jury duty website to see if any changes have been made to your appearance date or time.
